Google Launches Google SMS in India

Google SMS is a new awesome feaure by GOOGLE.We all know that Google has the Midas touch which make gold which they touch anything.The Google History shows that(Orkut,Blogger,Earth,Adsense ......... the list goes on).

Now google is on with their new move in India.It is called Google 5goog Text Messaging Service .By using this feature we can search for anything on google without any internet connection.Even we can search in the oldest mobile phones

What you need to do?

Text message your search query to 54664 ('5GOOG' on most mobiles)

You will get back the results as SMS from google.For example if you want to know about some movies in Kerala SMS "Movies Kerala" to 54664.You will get the results.

Google SMS Search Charges

Airtel: Rs. 2.00
BPL: Rs. 3.00
BSNL: Rs. 0.80/1.00 (post-paid/pre-paid)
Reliance: Rs. 3.00

We can expect the midas touch will go on..... But it is a fact that the latest phones have GPRS service(For almost all).So it is mainly focused on Old Mobile phones which doesnt have GPRS
